Field Ø200 can integrate additional functionalities to meet the demands of increasingly smart outdoor spaces. Alongside the traditional Field Ø200, there is the PLUG version, equipped with an IP65 IT/DE 2P+T 16A power outlet, designed to provide an integrated power point for outdoor environments.
The SENSOR version, on the other hand, focuses on sustainability: presence sensors help reduce energy waste, extend the product’s lifespan, and make lighting more efficient and responsible by automatically reducing light intensity when no movement is detected.
Master & Slave
Field Sensor Ø200 is available in two versions that are visually identical but serve different functions: FIELD SENSOR MASTER, programmable via the Simes app, acts as both a control unit and presence detector; and FIELD SENSOR SLAVE, which functions solely as a presence detector.
When motion is detected, the sensor activates the MASTER and all connected DALI devices, bringing them to the programmed intensity level for the set duration. After the set time, the devices automatically return to stand-by mode, reducing or turning off the light according to the configuration.
The FIELD SENSOR SLAVE, when detecting movement, replicates the behavior set in the MASTER, ensuring the same on/off and stand-by dynamics for all associated DALI devices.
In 2026, Simes launches its first App, allowing easy Bluetooth control and configuration of DALI devices connected to one or more Field Sensor MASTER units, without the need for external DALI controllers or professional programming. Through the App, it is possible to set key parameters such as:
- Mode (Dimmer or ON-OFF);
- Activation time (up to 3 hours);
- Light level (from 10% to 100%);
- Stand-by level programmable in 10% steps;
- Fade time (gradual fade-in and fade-out).
In more complex scenarios with a DALI controller, FIELD SENSOR SLAVE units can be used as motion detectors. In this case, their behavior and that of connected devices is not configured via the Simes App, but directly by a professional programmer, who manages centralized programming and can also integrate other smart home devices.
